Kit: Airfix Higgings LCVP Scale: 1/72

A clean build of the LCVP. Going for a slightly weathered look.

The Kit

The engineering is excellent. Everything fits tight out of the box.

Painted

Hand-brushed some areas, airbrushed the main armor. White parts got a very light grey pre-shade for subtle depth. The blue and gray are slightly desaturated from the box art for a more realistic tone.

Decals

Full waterslide decal application from the included Airfix sheet. Used Micro-sol and set to get them to conform to the surface. Sealed with a flat top coat.

Weathering

Some light Weathering was applied to try and match the 1:72 scale.
