(WIP) CH-54A Tarhe

Kit: Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe US heavy helicopter Scale: 1/35

A very slow build, by design.

The Kit

The engineering is excellent. A lot of surface deail. The internals do lack a bit. For that, the plan is after market parts.

It begins…

The engineering on this kit is top-notch, featuring an almost flawless fit where every detail aligns perfectly. If I had one minor grievance, and I’m nitpicking here, it’s the sprue gate placement. Some connections require extra patience during cleanup, as it’s easy to accidentally sand away fine details or panel lines if you aren’t careful.

After Market Parts Round 1

These resin ResKit parts are highly detailed, top-quality, 3D-printed aftermarket parts. The crisp details, lack of bubbles, are a significant upgrade over kit plastic parts. Worth every penny.

The engine assemblies are done and ready for paint. You probably cannot tell but, this is pretty big and a bunch of parts and work.
